I have been meaning to come to this restaurant based on the reviews and I finally had the opportunity to check it out with a friend. The place is a little hard to find as it is tucked away behind the Esso station in a strip of stores accessible by a driveway from northbound Dixie or eastbound Dundas.
As it turned out, it is certainly worth the effort in finding this little gem. The decor is fairly spartan and nothing to write home about, but it's all about the food. They have a large hot table with freshly prepared Polish home-cooked dishes. A good selection of soups, salads are available in addition to schnitzels, meat balls, cabbage rolls, stews, pork hocks, bigos (sauerkraut with meat), stuffed chicken, perogies, buckwheat, and much more...
This is just good, honest, home-cooked food that you would expect mom to make. Great value and highly recommended.

Note:  Tucked in a strip mall BEHIND the Esso station at the SE corner Dixie/Dundas.  Access while going N on Dixie OR traveling E on Dundas.  Otherwise, it's tricky to get in.

For what it is, it's pretty close to a 5*!  It's basically a cafeteria style eatery with foods on chafing plates.  They also had beer/wine as well.

I *believe* dishes change as the menu is in chalk.  There are 2 different prices for dine-in and takeout.  Place seems pretty authentic as all the patrons were Eastern European and that area is also quite EE as well.

It was literally $10.50 for a light meal enough for 2 ppl!  Meal consisted of 10 smallish potato dumplings, a cabbage roll, & a medium bowl of bean soup.  Everything seemed homemade, fresh, and not too salty!

Female behind the counter was actually quite helpful in pointing out non-pork items.  I wasn't apprehensive with asking her what was what.

I'll definitely stop by for a casual meal OR takeout.  Quite a few people seemed to takeout as well!

AWESOME, quick, not-to-unhealthy food option in the area.

The day this place stops delivery on Foodora is the day I cry.

I order from here usually AT LEAST once a week.

Tripe Soup is a death row meal for me.  YES, it's THAT GOOD!

Roasted Pork, Ribs, Cabbage Rolls, Roast Beef, Schnitzel, Whole Pork Hocks, THE BEST MUSHROOM GRAVY I'VE EVER HAD!  Everything is great, and the prices are great for the portion and quality of food you are getting.  It's so hard to find real home cooked food via delivery, but this goes above and beyond!

Make sure to make it a meal and get the AMAZING Potato dumplings and Hot Cabbage Salad (with little pieces of Roasted Pork) as your side.

The best delivery food I have ever ordered from anywhere.

Delicious home cooked food. Soups and pierogies are delicious. You can't go wrong. Don't count on superb decor. It's basically the hole in the wall you want to go for a yummy, authentic, hot, and very reasonably priced Polish meal! Feels like home.
